calling someone ridiculous, is a 'diss'...waah. lol. dude was fake. when i met steve, we chatted it up for like 30minutes. seemed like a cool guy. instead of saying he tore down (or knew of who) any of the work we were doing and why it was done, he played it off like he didn't know. it's cool. w/e.
and if Chris didnt, then the guy that Knows him that told me, lied.. lol :rolleyes: it doesn't matter. it was someone within that group.
grab a shovel? what you think i tried doing? hence why i moved my line out off F9, which they ended up using anyway. don't be dumb. LOL I ride there weekly when the weather's cool enough, or if i don't feel like driving across the bay to hit shit elsewhere. and now i barely ride? based on what, what i post on PB?
should chill out there about talking about picking up shovels and digging. you plopping 1 jump on top of a cow trail (that was trampled to dust when i saw it) doesn't make you a trail digger. lol.
@WC-dj-rider
The jumps that are there are built by "Chris baratlis" and a dude named Steve.
They XC ride on a Santa Cruz driver 8 and v10, respectively. it's odd as fuck, I know.
on the old Front 9, myself and the other rider in the video tried building some jumps, berms, new section...they all got torn down by those 2.
I started laying out a new section of a trail (the newer segment of that trail in the video) last year right around when it got hot out. I came back this winter to dig/build, and that trail was taken over by them and they built the jumps that are there. We built a jump, a chunked up stair set, a lil hopper into a berm, and a roller about 2 wks ago. We went back today, and they tore it all down.
The dudes are dicks. I met steve a while back and told him my situation about some people tearing the stuff down (before I knew it was actually him that was doing it), and he played it off like he had no idea. It's ridiculous.
